General Information

Our Policies

Appointments

We understand that your time is valuable and we will make every effort to provide services in a prompt fashion.  We strive to give each patient our undivided attention and unsurpassed service for the agreed upon appointment time.  We do not double-book patients.

In exchange, we expect that you will be present for your appointment at the agreed upon time.

We understand that scheduling conflicts occasionally occur and would appreciate at least 24-hour notice if cancellation of your appointment were necessary.   Failure to give notice will result in a $50 charge.  Not showing for appointment is incompatible with the high quality nature of our practice and may result in our being unable to meet your needs

Office Financial Policies

The fee for your endodontic treatment will be based on the extent of treatment.  During your first visit, we will discuss the probable number of visits, their length, and the fees involved.  Endodontic fees usually range from $800-$1300.  It is our policy that your care is paid for at the time of treatment.

For your convenience, we provide a number of payment options that may be used individually or combined according to your wishes.

  • Cash or Check ( A $50 returned check fee will be charged for any check that is returned by your bank)
  • Credit Cards:  Visa, mastercard, Discover, or American Express
  • Optional payment plans:  Should you desire to make monthly payments, we will be happy to assist you in applying for financing through our in-house bank.  We are pleased to offer monthly payment plans through our healthcare financing company, a convenient, no initial payment, low monthly payment plan with an interest-free option.
  • Insurance:  We will gladly file your insurance claim paperwork for you so that you will be promptly reimbursed by your insurance company.
  • If your treatment requires more than one visit, we will honor a 5% discount for payments made for the entire amount of treatment at the consultation appointment.

Patients With Dental Insurance

Prior to your appiontment, we will make every effort to contact your dental insurance companies to request benefit information.  Insurance companies do not generally tell us the exact amount that they will pay for the procedure.  There is no way for us to ascertain the amount of payment until we receive checks from the insurance companies.   In addition,  insurance companies may decline to pay for dental procedures even after they provide patients with the estimated percentage of coverage.   In cases where insurance companies pays less than the estimated amount or where they decline pay for the dental procedure, patients are ultimately responsible for the payments.

Patients Without Dental Insurance

For those patients with without dental insurance, we request payment in full if the treatment only requires one appointment.  In cases with multiple visits, we request a 50% downpayment on the first visit, and the remainder at the completion visit.
